The Mymanu CLIK PRO earbuds are rather clever devices, engineered to tackle those pesky language barriers. They offer instant two-way translation across more than 50 languages and various accents - quite impressive, really. They’re particularly suitable for business types who find themselves globe-trotting and chatting with folks from all corners of the world. The designers have clearly put some thought into comfort and hands-free operation. Mind you, there’s a bit of confusion about how these work both online and offline. The manufacturer’s website mentions various connectivity options - mobile phone, Wi-Fi, eSIM, and offline mode - but they’re rather vague about the eSIM situation. We reckon users need to sort out their own eSIM, which could be a right faff when travelling across different countries. Not to mention the hassle of hunting down Wi-Fi spots when you’re in a rush or need an urgent translation. We’re also not entirely convinced about the effectiveness of the offline translation. That said, the earbuds do come in a rather smart charging case that keeps them protected and powered up whilst you’re out and about - quite handy, that. However, potential buyers should be mindful of the ongoing costs, particularly the Internet connectivity charges when gallivanting abroad. It’s not exactly pocket money, is it?
